This was purchased some time between 1984 and 1988, probably in 1985 or 1986. The shadows look like they are baked, but in reality they are smooth and have good pigmentation. They are designed to be used wet or dry, and in my initial use of them I typically used the darker shade wet as a liner using the enclosed brush. I did not swatch wet, only dry. I did not use eyeshadow primer for swatches, but I did have some lotion on my arm. I a q-tip to apply because the original applicator disintegrated as soon as pressure was applied to the shadow pan.
The case is scratched but intact.
The shadows are in good condition.
Swatched in shade
The beautiful color and shine show to much better advantage in the sun. These shadows have a beautiful depth to them that doesn't show well in photos.
