I probably bought this in 1987, when Chanel launched this then-unique product. It's a double-ended wand with powder shadow in the two caps that rubs onto the sponge-tip applicators on the ends of the wand. One end is navy blue, the other a light cool-leaning pink.
This was a neat idea, and I liked its portability. Unfortunately, the sponges weren't the best method of application , giving little control over amount applied or even placement of the shadow. The result was usually a bit patchy, and in those days I had no idea bout blending with brushes. Because of this I didn't end up using it much. Too bad, since the colors are quite pretty and look nice together.
